Words from Aaron

Hello All,

Judging by the nearly unbearable heat and humidity that arrived seemingly overnight – summer is here! But hey, lets look at the bright side. Fewer elderly drivers are on the roads once the snowbirds retreat North. Sometimes a brief rain shower can really cool you off during a hot ride. Sweat itself can be nicely cooling once you get up to speed. Plus, I think we can all agree that the sweet sweet combination of exhaust fumes, drenching sweat, and dead bugs is pretty irresistible to the ladies. So maybe your riding gear has seen better days? The summer season is a great excuse to buy yourself a new vented jacket/gloves/boots/pants… come check out our great hot weather gear selection at Euro Cycles!

We still have some spots available in our RawHyde Adventure and BMW Off-road Academy dirt riding clinic and trail ride. This event will begin at Euro Cycles on Sunday, June 3. RawHyde Instructors will conduct trainings on bike preparation, equipment, and ride techniques based on the “Official” BMW Off-Road Academy curriculum. They will offer hands-on instruction designed to accommodate both beginner and experienced riders alike. You will leave the event with new skills and confidence, and have a whole lot of fun. It will be an awesome way to discover the true capabilities of your motorcycle! If you would like to attend this very special event, please call Leanne at 813-926-9937 or RSVP by email.

Our Ducati 1199 Panigales have been arriving daily. The response from our lucky first new owners has been overwhelmingly positive. Not only is the new Superbike light and fast, the advanced technology and design built into the features make the 1199 extremely rideable. We now have a few of these bikes available for purchase to the general public. If you would like to give one a try, stop by for a demo ride.
If you haven’t been by the shop lately, be sure to stop in. Our inventory changes daily and we always have something new and exciting to offer.

Recently one of our good friends and customers, a young man named Brandon, tragically lost his life. Brandon was doing what he loved, riding the track at a training school in Alabama, when he suffered a fatal accident. A memorial track day weekend will be held at Jennings GP in North Florida in Brandon’s honor. Funds raised during the event will benefit a trust set up for Brandon’s son. The track weekend is scheduled for September 15-16. For more details, contact Leanne by calling 813-926-9937 , email sales@bmwrides.com.

Until Next Time,
Aaron
